My husband and I booked the private wine tour with Donnie for my birthday and it was fantastic! He handled it all and was fun to talk with. We went to three wineries, the lunch was included in the package (we got to eat at Wolf Mountain which was AMAZING), and we liked Donnie so much we booked him to be our driver to and from town afterwards.

Donn was awesome! He drove a group of seven of us ladies around the wineries all day and he was so nice, professional and very knowledgeable about the wineries. So easy to book with and deal with. I accidentally left my hat in the van after he dropped us off at our hotel and he went out of his way to bring it back to me the next day. I will be calling Donn for all of my future wine weekends!

Don and Gary were AMAZING!!! Gary took us on the wine tour and was so information! He was able to get us into the winerys we wanted even though there were no reservations available. We had such a wonderful time touring wine country with Doug. He was professional and a great driver. He offered to pick up lunch for us, take our photo at every winery and even went through the Starbucks drive-thru for us when we needed a pick-me-up. I will hire this company again.

We are a group of 5 people who spent 5 days in Los Olivos in early January and we had a blast with Bill Henderson and Savoir Faire Wine Tours. He took us for two days of wine tours and found us the most beautiful spots for our picnic lunches as well as found the best wines the area has to offer. He is fun to be around and he has extensive wine knowledge. We are coming back again in 2017 and also early 2018 with a group of family members and we are definitely booking our days with Savoir Faire. Friends and I traveled to Solvang for the week and went on wine tours with Donn and Bill and were chauffeured by Doug and Dog. It was great fun to learn about the differences among the wine and wineries and the surrounding towns. These guys were great fun and hardly rolled their eyes once with our obvious lack of knowledge. I would highly recommend Savoir Faire to anyone looking for a great experience.

Doug will be our new go to when booking wine tastings in Solvang. He had a great personality and sense of humor while I was inquiring about their company. He is very knowledgeable of the area, types of wines and different wineries. He helped with guidance and timings for our winery selections, and I asked him to surprise us with a selection of his choosing. His surprise choice (Sarloos & Sons- does wine pairings with cupcakes) was by far the best tasting of our day, even better than the ones my friends and I end up picking.

Absolutely amazing adventure with Bill!! We went a few months ago but I've been too busy to write review- so sorry Bill! Your tour was incredible! We started at our hotel and went to an amazing boutique vineyard, then to a larger tasting room where we got a private tour in the back (drink from a barrel), to a beautiful property with backyard picnic tables, amazing view and acoustic sounds of a local singer songwriter. We finished at an adorable little tasting room in town. BIll brought us back to our hotel to freshen up - then he picked us up and took us to this amazing farm-to-table restaurant. A wonderful, wonderful way to spend the day with my niece who recently turned 21! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

This was my second time in 2 months using Savoir Faire Wine Tours. Bill picked us up at our hotel in Lompoc. We didn't realize the Wine Ghetto had so few tasting rooms open during the week. He took us to Los Olivos and took us (a friend and me) to tasting rooms I hadn't been to before. I loved Stolpman so much that I joined their club. We were having so much fun that we invited Bill to stay with us rather than leaving us on our own. It was so worth the extra cost. The next day Bill took us to Santa Ynez Valley Wine Club. A must see when visiting the area, very different and unique. Then to a cheese store then to pick up sandwiches for lunch later on. Bill is an excellent guide and I highly recommend him. He gives great suggestions. I goofed and wanted to go to certain tasting rooms because I hadn't been to them before but based on my taste in wine (very similar to Bill's as it turned out) he rearranged the route without batting an eye. He is a lot of fun to be with and extremely knowledgeable.

We were on a 10 person six hour wine tour adventure with the most amazing guide/driver Bill. He literally took care of our every need. He pre-planned a couple of our stops and incorporated our requests for the other stops. It was the most beautiful and amazing day. We worried about nothing. Bill provided our group of 5 a comfortable and safe ride from Santa Ynez to La Cumbre Country Club on a rainy windy evening and was there ahead of time to return us safely after our Chaine des Rotisseur Dinner.

This was the first ever wine tasting experience I have ever had and I can definitely say it was a memorable one! Bill is an awesome, friendly and caring driver! He was very easy going and attentive to what we had wanted to do for the day! The plans he made for us and the places we went to exceeded our expectations on how we ever expected the day would go! We wanted to hire someone to drive us to wine tastings near downtown Solvang and really didn't know any in particular. We easily could have hired some bland driver who simply drove us to and from wineries of our choosing, or been stuck on some boring tour group.

From the moment he greeted us, we all felt comfortable with him, he asked us great up front questions about wines we like; and confidently suggested places he felt we would enjoy, he nailed it! He found the perfect locations for us; played fantastic music in the car; willing to joke around with us; offered to take group photos of us, even selecting the best backdrops. He knew a fantastic deli where he selected cheeses & meats that would pair with our next stop. He was patient; charming; helpful. I felt like I was spending the day with my big brother. It really was the perfect day, and I don't think it would have been so, had we not hired Bill.

Bill was fantastic-we were up for a wedding and he ferrried us about for the weekend including an emergency trip to the Santa Barbara airport. Very reasonable pricing, super nice and friendly, definitely went the extra mile. He does wine tours too-we'll definitely use him when we return!
